And that thing he kept referring to on his pants? It was Miso Mackeral Stew. Goddammit, why did everything you say have to sound like an innuendo..
Oh, and speaking of whom...
Kurosaki - That bar yesterday was a disaster. It was not helped by your constant fawning whining about Kuchiki-san. It was tiresome to say the least. Oh yes, you make my things public, I will return the favour, damn you... Besides the fact I had to drink my weight in cosmopolitans to get through the horror you inflicted upon me, I can only regret not doing what I could have done with my time instead....

Kurosaki, has that package arrived yet? It was dispatched last week for crying out loud, it should be there... you wouldn't be keeping it down there just to annoy me now, would you?
Ichimaru-san, sir, I will be along shortly to pick up my keyboard. Thank-you for keeping it until I could come and collect it. I trust it has been kept safely and no buttons have ended up in coffee?
Orihime. I have nearly completed your dress. These things do not usually take me so long, but it hasn't seemed quite right yet. I do hope that it will be worth the wait. Perhaps.. ah.. umm, never mind. |

Imagine my surprise when I came into work and apparently Tech Support no longer has keyboards. Yes.. Tech Support has lost it's keyboards.. how utterly ridiculous.
All the more annoying is that it was my own custom keyboard I had made and bought in especially. Has anyone seen it? It is rather distinctive - blue with a cross emblem on the top...
Hitsugaya-kun has had to make do with an archaic piece of hardware found in the toilets, and it was only through sheer chance I bought in my laptop...
That reminds me:
Kurosaki, I am tracking a very important order which should be delivered this morning. I haven't seen a shred of mail yesterday or the day prior to that (have you actually been working at all?). I would like you to bring the package for me to sign. I would not entrust Keigo with this and it is not something I want to go missing. |

After a.. misfortunate Thursday I despise that man, Friday was spent having to wrangle time off from this place to obtain a new pair of glasses. After countless tests and re-testing (why do they not have my records on file?) I was finally issued with another pair...
The return on Monday was made all the more pleasant by the once again infantile barrage of plots and tricks. Whomever is responsible should hopefully get their comeuppance however, for now Yamamoto-sama is angry. And who could really blame him?
I just get the feeling this is meant to be distracting us all from the real agenda at work here.

Hitsugaya-kun has pretty much summed up my thoughts about this day in his journal log.
Why weren't we forewarned? ...whose job is it again?... It's not like Tech Support is that big an office, and the door has been firmly shut for the most part. So why the crowds of people wanting to come in?
As if life in work isn't complicated enough already. Abarai-kun, for some unknown reason I feel the need for a couple of drinks and a game of pool... Ugh. Nevermind |

I thought the police car was incongruous to say the least, but I didn't really expect the rumour mill to start working so readily... After all, if the police thought something was sincerely wrong, we would have been notified as to the possible offense.. surely.
Of course, curiosity takes a hold but:
Getting a cup of coffee before work (decaff, naturally), Kuukaku-san relished in telling me the gossip...
Seriously, now.. Ichigo, a serial killer? Aliens?! What's so wrong in people's lives that they resort to making up such ridiculous rumours? (Kuukaku-san, if you are reading this, I don't mean you, I wouldn't "shoot the messenger" as it were) As for the other rumours, well.. ahh.. well, it's so absurd!
Why do I get the feeling that.. oh.. never mind
I just hope people are sensible enough to realise that these rumours are just that - Rumours.

After the last week and a half, I hazard out that I feel a tentative sense of relief. Things seem to have quietened down on the technological front at SSI, and certain progress is being made with the investigation I just sincerely hope it has no significant repercussions. It's good to know that, whilst the problem seems to have been internal in it's origin, that there are other colleagues in the company who are willing, and able to assist.. and friends whom you can trust
The weather is not as hot as it has been and I actually slept quite well, despite the cacophony of violence on the street that occurred in front of my flat. I am rather surprised no particular property damage was inflicted in fact, for whilst my home certainly serves its purpose well enough, it cannot be thought of as being situated in the nicest area.
(Also, why do people get so bestial over the results from a game of football? They're not even experiencing first hand the competition of participating in a sport... surely just being a spectator is nothing to get that worked up about?)

Well, my return to the working environment has been eventful thusfar. After the break at home, with it's peace and quiet, I have to admit it's taking me a little time to readjust. Everything has just been rather frenetic.
At home, I had been working on my sewing projects - focussing on getting my ebay store up and running, interspersing this with more relaxing pursuits such as listening to music and reading.. on my own, alone.
At work, it's all chaos, and people, and hormones..
Don't get me wrong, my actual job is easy enough to re-acclimatize to.. but the hustle and bustle of SSI is constant and, well, that's taking a little more time.
Thankfully I have had the friendly and positive influence of Orihime-san, and the quiet industrialism of Hitsugaya-kun to ease the transition.
Now I just have to contend with attending Dr. Unohana-san for my flu jab. Ughh.. for some reason surgeries always remind me of him . Maybe it's the cold, clinical nature of the work that annoys me... Just put me in a room with an abundance of materials, a needle and a thread.. now that is far more interesting and engaging. |
